February 2023

Tuesday 7 February, I had the pleasure of joining residents at Dodds Court, Blackwood Road, Town End Farm to celebrate their 40th Anniversary celebrations.
Friday 10 February I officially opened the International Junior Tennis Tournament, which was held at Sunderland Tennis Centre, Silksworth Lane, Sunderland.
Saturday 18 February, I had the honour of attending the Induction Service of Revd Jane Powell Minster to the Bede Joint Pastorate of Northern Synod. This was held at Stockton Road Unite Reformed Church, Belvedere Road, Sunderland.

January 2023

Friday 6 January I had the pleasure of attending Turntide Technologies, Barmston Court, Nissan Way, Sunderland where the Lord-Lieutenant for Tyne and Wear presented Turntide Technologies with the Queens Award for Enterprise: Innovation 2021.
Wednesday 11 January I hosted a Citizenship Ceremony in the Mayor’s Parlour, City Hall which was also attended by Mr Jeff Brown Deputy Lieutenant for Tyne and Wear.
Monday 16 January, I attended the Show Racism the Red Card School Event, which was held at the Beacon of Light, Sunderland.
Thursday 26 January, I attended the Holocaust Memorial Service which was held at Sunderland Minster, High Street West, Sunderland.
