Training in Care - Maths in Action - A Beginners Guide

Who is this course for?

This course for beginners will be a short introductory course into maths and how it links with the areas of delivery so that learners know what to expect and where they can progress before they enrol onto the other courses.

What will I learn on the course?

You will cover a range of maths skills that are used in everyday life to build your confidence and knowledge.

How will I learn?

Face-to-face learning - the tutor will support learners by offering a range of different activities, such as direct teaching, discussion and tasks to develop skills and knowledge. The tutor will assess the learner by looking at their work, asking questions and observing as they join in with group discussions.
