Who is this course for?

Those who are in work and unable to apply for other jobs or promotion due to lack of certificated numeracy skills.

What will I learn on the course?

You will follow a structured initial assessment and diagnostic process to identify your skills gaps. These gaps will be addressed by a dedicated functional skills tutor through to exam. You will have the opportunity to achieve Functional Skills Maths from Entry Level 1, through to Level 2. We will work in partnership with the jobcentre and large employers in the local area to support the important steppingstone process.

How will I learn?

Tool kits and teaching sessions have been developed to work through, in addition to workshops, and one-toone advice sessions are offered with our tutors. Taught sessions will be delivered over a time frame where you will have personal tutor support with specific feedback aimed to improve your personal understanding with maths.

What next, after the course?

You could progress onto functional skills maths or employability courses
