Who is this course for?

For those who struggle with maths and want to improve your skills and increase your confidence with numeracy.

What will I learn on the course?

Tool kits, resources and teaching sessions have been developed to help you increase your Maths ability and confidence. In addition to workshops, one-to-one advice sessions are offered with our tutors.

How will I learn?

Your tutor will work with you to create a unique Individual Learner Plan (ILP) which will help identify your own personal learning targets. Working with you to set goals and milestone targets to enable your personal development. Throughout the course your tutor will assess your work, giving supportive and developmental feedback, asking you questions about the topics and observing your contribution to the discussions. There is no exam at the end of the course.

What next, after the course?

You could progress onto functional skills maths or employability courses.
