Let's Talk Washington Parks
We are seeking residents views about proposed access prevention measures planned for James Steel Park, Princess Anne Park and Rickleton Park.

We are contacting all residents within a half mile radius of the parks by post, as well as seeking views from other park users via our Washington Area Committee Facebook page.
Washington Area Committee covers 5 council wards in this area. The Area Committee has allocated £120,000 to install a range of proposed access control measures around local parks. This is in response to concerns around anti-social behaviour, including fly tipping, unauthorised encampments and lorry parking (whilst awaiting delivery slots).
As part of the approval process, we are seeking views on the proposals for the installation of a number of barriers and fences to limit inappropriate access to the parks.
