Mayoral engagements

Monday 16 December 2024

The Mayor and Consort will pay a Christmas visit to Bexhill Academy, Town End Farm, Sunderland at 1.15pm where they will meet staff and complete a tour of the premises. The Mayor will then go to  Town End Farm Working Men's Club, Bexhill Road, Town End Farm, Sunderland at 2pm where she will enjoy a Christmas performance by year 5 and 6 pupils.

The Mayor and Consort will pay a Christmas visit to the Paediatrics and Care of the Elderly Wards and Neonatal Unit at Sunderland Royal Hospital, Kayll Road, Sunderland at 9am.

Wednesday 18 December 2024

The Mayor and Consort will pay a Christmas visit to Paddock Stile Care Home, Philadelphia Lane, Houghton le Spring where they will also enjoy a performance by Newbottle Primary Academy Choir at 10.15am.

The Mayor and Consort will join the Living Praise Choir during their performance in the Bridges Shopping Centre, Sunderland at 2pm. All proceeds raised by the choir will be kindly donated to the Mayor's charities for 2024-25 which are the Royalty Theatre Sunderland, Castletown Scouts Group and Hylton Castle Trust.

The Mayor and Consort will attend the Sunderland v Norwich football match, which is being held at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland. Kick-off is at 3pm.

The Mayor and Consort will attend the Sunderland Male Voice Choir Christmas Concert featuring the Music Makers Ladies Choir at 6.55pm. This will be held at St Chad's Church, East Herrington, Sunderland.
