The Mayor will join the Lord Lieutenant of Tyne and Wear at the North of England Reserve Force Cadets Association Awards Evening at 6.30pm. This will be held at the Army Reserve Centre, Dykelands Road, Sunderland.

Wednesday 19 March 2025

The Mayor and Consort will attend the Pride in Sunderland Breakfast Launch at 8.45am which will be taking place at the Holiday Inn, Keel Square, Sunderland.

The Mayor and Consort will host a charity tour of Sunderland Empire Theatre, High Street West, Sunderland at 1pm. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Mayor's chosen charities the Royalty Theatre Sunderland, Castletown Scouts, and Hylton Castle Trust.

The Deputy Mayor and Deputy Consort will attend a Community Iftar at 6pm which is being held at Anwaar E Madinah Mosque, St Marks Road, Sunderland.

The Mayor and Consort will support the Chair of Brandon and Byshottles at his charity evening at 7pm which will be taking place at Browney Social Club, 30 Browney Lane, Browney DH7 8HT. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Chairs chosen charity Handcrafted.

The Mayor will visit British Enterprise Fund, 10 Austin Boulevard, Quay West Business Village, Sunderland at 10am. The Mayor will meet staff, tour the facilities, and learn more about the important work which they do supporting new local businesses.

The Mayor will attend Active Families North-East Step Into Wellness Event at 12.30pm which is being held at Bede Tower, Burdon Road Sunderland. The Mayor will speak to organisers and those in attendance and view a variety of workshops available.
