The Learning and Skills Service 2020/2021 achievements:

  • 415 courses were delivered
  • 2730 - the number of enrolments in 2020/21
  • 52.08% of learners progressed into further learning
  • 17.26% of learners achieved successful employment, self-employment or volunteering outcomes
  • 95% of learners successfully completed their accredited qualifications
  • 99% of learners successfully completed their community learning training

This year we are working with 14 local training providers to offer you a wide range of training opportunities based at venues across Sunderland.

Diploma in Work Related Studies Customer Service: "I really liked the sessions,  made friends with others and felt safe and comfortable going into the training sessions. I felt the tutor was really understanding, she offered lots of support and I feel more confident with my interview techniques."
