Who is this course for?

Employers who require staff to upskill their numeracy level, for example the Care Sector and the need to confidently administer medication, or travel sector and understanding currency rates and exchange.

What will I learn on the course?

The course content will be developed in conjunction with individual employers via our employer engagement team, prior to course design and implementation based on need and demand, to enable career progression and continuous personal development for employees. Tool kits and teaching sessions have been developed to work through real life work situations.

How will I learn?

Your tutor will work with you to create an unique Individual Learner Plan (ILP) which will help identify your own personal learning targets. Working with you to set goals and milestone targets to enable your personal development and understanding spreadsheets. Throughout the course your tutor will assess your work, giving supportive and developmental feedback, asking you questions about the topics and observing your contribution to the discussions. There is no exam at the end of the course.

What next, after the course?

You could progress onto functional skills maths or employability courses.
