Parents, carers or guardians who want to improve numeracy skills

What will I learn on the course?

Build on your numeracy skills and confidence using maths tool kits, resources and teaching sessions. In addition to workshops, one to one advice sessions are offered with our tutors. Maths content will be tailored to develop your ability, as well as ensuring you can support your children at their school level.

How will I learn?

Your tutor will work with you to create a unique Individual Learner Plan (ILP), this will help identify your own personal learning targets. Working to set goals and milestone targets to enable your personal development. Throughout the course your tutor will assess your work, giving supportive and developmental feedback. There will be continuous assessments to assess your understanding and there is no exam at the end of the course.

What next, after the course?

You could progress onto functional skills maths or employability courses
