Local company led by an ageing well director, have developed a computer workstation designed with diversity in mind

Local company, Green White Sice, is managed by Dave Green and Michael White and is based at the Business Innovation Centre on the Enterprise Park near Wessington Way. Dave and Michael have produced a computer workstation, Unio, which is ergonomically designed to be easily accessible by disabled, older and physically challenged individuals. I was lucky enough to have a virtual meeting and demonstration of the workstation which is extremely impressive. As former Dean of Computing and Engineering at the University and Emeritus Professor of Computing, I was very interested in seeing their product and what it offers to users. The workstation is designed so that the computer screen and keyboard can be positioned exactly in the best position for users of any height and with any physical disabilities.

It is great that older entrepreneurs are working on products for the future and present, which serve the needs of a diverse community. Dave and Michael would be delighted to demonstrate the workstation to anyone who is interested in installing such equipment at their workplace. They are a credit to Sunderland and I wish them well with their product and innovation. You can see more about the workstation at the YouTube and website link below:
