Awareness of Child Sexual Exploitation

This course will provide you with the knowledge in understanding the importance of protecting children and young people from sexual exploitation. It will outline the importance of confidentiality when dealing with children and young people who have been sexually exploited and protecting those who report suspected issues of sexual exploitation of children and young people. This course content includes:

·         The importance of protecting children and young people from sexual exploitation.

·         The importance of confidentiality when dealing with children and young people who have been sexually exploited.

·         The legislation applicable to the safeguarding of children and young people.

·         How those who report suspected issues of sexual exploitation of children or young people are protected.

This course is suitable for anyone working with the general public and those engaged in work specifically with children and young people. This course is delivered face to face over 2 days.
