In compliance with current Government advice in relation to Coronavirus the Building Control Service will be implementing the following measures in order to maintain an effective service:
- In an attempt to limit exposure to COVID-19 staff may be working remotely and there will be no face to face contact at the Civic Centre, unless absolutely essential, until further notice
- For all general and pre-application enquires the department can be contacted via firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling the office on (0191) 561 1550
- If anyone wishes to submit an application then it is strongly advised that this is done via Submit a Plan at www.submitaplan.com or by sending your information to email@example.com
- Please note that every effort should be made to avoid submitting anything to the department in paper format during this time
