Community Wealth Building

Community wealth building is about:

  • Developing assets, of all kinds, in such a way that the wealth stays local
  • Using local assets to make communities more vibrant
  • Aiming to help individuals, families and communities control their own economic destiny

The following video explains what community wealth building is and gives an overview of our delivery plan:

  5. Business growth and investment including the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS)
  6. Increasing social value through procurement and wider activity
  7. Improving community resilience
